Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: St. Johns, MI
Salary Range: $86,000 - $132,000 depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) across manufacturing operations.
Identify and analyze process inefficiencies, waste, and bottlenecks using data-driven methodologies.
Develop, implement, and sustain new or improved processes and standardized work procedures.
Train, mentor, and coach employees at all levels on Lean principles, tools, and problem-solving techniques.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and measure the impact of improvement efforts.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
Manage a portfolio of continuous improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and realized benefits.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of progressive continuous improvement experience within a manufacturing environment.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB).
Proven ability to lead and implement complex process improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and change management capabilities.
Bonus Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with automation, Industry 4.0, or digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing.
Certification or extensive experience in organizational change management.
