
Production Coordinator

Our client, a Trend Driven Junior's apparel manufacturing company, is seeking an Assistant Designer to support their rapidly growing team.
Responsibilities
Support day-to-day production activities to ensure timely execution from development through delivery
Manage and track purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and timely updates
Communicate regularly with overseas vendors to follow up on production status, samples, and shipment timelines
Request and track samples, approvals, and bulk production updates
Maintain production calendars, WIP reports, and delivery schedules
Follow up with factories on key milestones including sample approvals, production progress, and shipping details
Partner cross-functionally with Design, Sales, and Technical teams to support product development and execution
Assist in resolving PO and production issues as they arise
Monitor timelines to ensure on-time delivery in alignment with company standards
Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in production, product development, or a related field
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience working with overseas vendors is a plus
EDI/AMT experience is a plus
$60k-$85k commensurate with experience
Full Time On-Site in their NYC Office
