Position Overview Responsible for managing a designated commercial loan portfolio, including portfolio management, credit underwriting, and ensuring compliance with bank and regulatory guidelines. The incumbent works on loans and portfolios of lower to medium complexity, requiring significant oversight and quality of underwriting and portfolio management metrics. The incumbent mentors junior team members and assists Commercial Relationship Managers in maintaining client relationships with a high level of creditability.
Primary Responsibilities Underwrite, monitor, and analyze assigned commercial portfolios, ensuring risks are identified timely and portfolio management practices align with the bank's risk appetite and regulatory standards. Lead complex transactions such as syndications and multi‑level capital structures, communicate effectively to solve problems and recommend credit actions, and present proposals in written and verbal formats to committees and meetings.
Monitor that the portfolio stays within acceptable tolerances and published KPIs/KRIs, uphold regulatory and audit review standards, and manage customer relationships directly with Relationship Managers. Work with management on group‑wide initiatives for process and role enhancements, and act as a mentor to junior Underwriting Portfolio Managers. Perform other duties and projects as assigned. All employees serve as risk managers by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring risk as part of F.N.B. Corporation’s risk management program.
Minimum Level of Education Required BA or BS

Pay Range $77,818.00 – $129,688.00
