Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator with a strong background in landscape and hardscape construction. This role is responsible for developing accurate, competitive, and profitable bids while working closely with operations to ensure alignment from preconstruction through execution.
This position can be structured as remote, with the expectation of regular participation in Microsoft Teams meetings, coordination calls, and ongoing communication with the internal team. Success in this role requires a high level of responsiveness, organization, and proactive communication. Periodic in-person meetings or site visits may be required based on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform full takeoffs and cost estimates
Analyze plans and specifications
Develop detailed budgets
Coordinate with operations and leadership
Support project handoff
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in estimating
Strong understanding of site development
Experience with ACC, OST, ProEst is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
Strong plan reading and scope interpretation skills
