Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a Senior Event Producer to lead the strategy, content, and execution of high-impact corporate events in the San Jose, CA region. This role sits at the intersection of client leadership, storytelling, and production excellence. You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business objectives into compelling experiences across in‑person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
The Senior Event Producer owns the full event lifecycle, from concept through execution and post‑event delivery. This individual brings a strong point of view, confidently guides clients, and ensures every program is delivered with precision, creativity, and accountability. This role requires a producer who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution while maintaining control of both client relationships and show delivery.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary client lead, providing clear direction, managing expectations, and maintaining scope and program integrity
Translate business goals into compelling event programs, shaping agendas, speaker flow, and overall show structure
Lead production meetings and align cross‑functional teams throughout the event lifecycle
Develop and manage detailed production plans, including run of show, staffing models, and execution timelines
Lead production across in‑person, virtual, and hybrid events
Oversee all production elements including A/V, staging, content, and show flow; step in as show caller when required
Source, negotiate, and manage external vendor partners across venue, F&B, technical production, and experiential elements
Lead speaker and executive preparation, including rehearsals, scripting, and on‑stage delivery
Own budgets, forecasts, and financial reconciliation to ensure programs are delivered within scope
Guide creative direction for event environments, including stage design, decor, and branding
Proactively identify risks, manage changes, and resolve issues in real time
Ensure post‑event deliverables, including photos, recordings, and recap assets, meet client expectations
Prepare and present pre‑event risk assessments and post‑event debriefs
Measure program success and deliver post‑event insights and recommendations
Support a range of programs including internal meetings, external events, and investor‑facing experiences
Qualifications
7+ years of experience producing corporate events within an agency or fast‑paced enterprise environment (Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus)
Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder programs with confidence and professionalism
Strong experience across a variety of in‑person, virtual, and hybrid events
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead creative, technical, and client teams
Demonstrated ability to manage content, production, and logistics simultaneously
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and composed in fast‑paced, live‑event environments
Must be based in or near the San Jose / San Francisco Bay Area
Duration: Full‑time, consulting
Rate: $70/hour W‑2 consultant of Crawford Group; benefits available if eligible (Our hourly ranges are determined based on skills, experience and location)
