
Event Marketing Manager - Concur

The Event Marketing Manager works with the Enterprise Event Marketing team to support SAP Concur’s Enterprise event strategy and overall marketing plan. This role is responsible for creating and executing high-impact events that drive engagement, generate pipeline and revenue, and enhance brand visibility. The role collaborates closely with Field Marketing, Sales, Customer Account Managers, and more, to deliver compelling experiences for our customers and prospects.
Responsibilities
Execute SAP Concur’s event strategy within Enterprise Americas to support company and business unit priorities across multiple market units.
Develop event strategy and identify program opportunities that generate pipeline and revenue with a key focus on ROI.
Manage end-to-end event processes – setup through execution – for an event portfolio, including branding, registration and attendee communication, timeline management, and event production.
Work cross-functionally with key marketing stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of all event programs. Ensure the programs deliver measurable results, remain within budget, meet or exceed program goals and exemplify the SAP Concur brand.
Communicate with all stakeholders to drive deadlines for deliverables associated with events while supporting event team’s goals and objectives.
Analyze event performance metrics, prepare reports for leadership team on KPIs, and make recommendations for future improvements.
Introduce and encourage new ideas that continually evolve the experience for our event attendees.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or equivalent.
Minimum 8-10 years experience in event management and execution.
Previous Marketing or Communications experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, Splash, Tableau, Wrike, and/or ON24 a plus.
Position requires travel to events.
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to coordinate a number of activities with multiple components requiring independent follow through while maintaining accuracy.
Comfortable in a fast paced, multi-task environment with quick turnaround and high demand.
Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal).
Organizational and project management expertise with a high level of attention to detail.
Proficiency and comfort with technology; ability to learn new technology with confidence.
Eye for design and ability to work within brand guidelines.
Ability to maintain a view of overall business situation when making decisions and setting processes.
