Functional Job Family Description Plans and implements activities related to the timely, cost‑effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis. Ensures the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at minimum acceptable levels. Responsible for sourcing and supplying raw materials. Coordinates and integrates the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers. Identifies and recommends opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain.
Job Requirements Responsible for global, end‑to‑end supply planning and optimization across assigned value stream, integrating demand, supply, capacity, and inventory strategies across multiple sites and regions. Owns development of global supply plans, scenario modeling, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure customer commitments are met while optimizing cost, service, and working capital. Operates at an enterprise level, influencing planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics through advanced analytics, planning systems, and cross‑functional collaboration to enable supply chain resilience and agility.
Lead development and execution of fully integrated global supply plans for assigned value stream.
Balance global supply and demand, optimizing production footprints for flexibility and cost efficiency.
Anticipate material, capacity, and supply risks; enable proactive scenario planning and mitigation.
Define global inventory strategies, replenishment models, and safety stock parameters.
Manage global capacity planning aligned to customer commitments and business priorities.
Lead supply chain optimization initiatives including make‑versus‑buy and footprint decisions.
Coordinate across global planning, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams.
Support product lifecycle transitions through integrated planning strategies.
Strong expertise with ERP and advanced planning systems (SAP APO/IBP or equivalent).
What Your Background Should Look Like
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related discipline.
7+ years of progressive experience in global supply planning, production planning, or materials management.
Demonstrated experience in multi‑site and multi‑region planning environments.
Strong influence skills in matrix organizations without direct authority.
Advanced experience in supply‑demand balancing, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Trainings and Certifications APICS CPIM / CSCP preferred; Lean Six Sigma certification a plus.

Compensation
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $124,800 – 156,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
