Our client, a leading professional services firm, is seeking to identify a

Private Client Services (PCS) Tax Partner

to provide tax compliance, consulting, and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses. This role will be responsible for client relationship management, technical leadership, practice development, and leading and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary relationship partner for PCS clients, delivering high‑quality tax compliance and planning services

Provide technical leadership across individual, fiduciary, estate, gift, and pass‑through entity taxation

Review complex tax returns and planning strategies to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with firm and regulatory standards

Lead and grow the PCS practice through business development and cross‑selling firm services

Collaborate with audit, advisory, and specialty tax teams to deliver integrated client solutions

Mentor, develop, and manage PCS tax professionals

Stay current on tax law changes and communicate relevant impacts to clients and internal teams

Qualifications

CPA or JD required; LLM (Tax) or MST preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

12+ years of progressive experience in private client tax within a public accounting firm

Demonstrated leadership, client management, and business development experience

Strong technical expertise and commitment to professional standards and firm quality initiatives
