This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Sales Representative role based in Springfield, MO - Steve Short Agency. The Insurance Sales Representative will focus on building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending suitable solutions. Key responsibilities include selling various insurance products, maintaining client records, responding to inquiries, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting sales targets. The role will also require collaboration with team members and staying updated on industry trends to provide the best options to clients.
Qualifications
Proficient in insurance sales and sales techniques or willing to be trained in a fast paced sales industry to meet business growth goals
Skilled in customer service and communication to build and maintain strong client relationships
Experience with insurance and familiarity with various insurance products, including home, auto, and life insurance preferred
Proactive, goal-orientated mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Licensure requirements: Active insurance agent license or willingness to obtain licensure before starting
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and achieve sales targets
Willing to train the right candidate who views the position as a long term career
