Overview NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Manager, Experiential Activations, based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.
Responsibilities
NASCAR Experience: Lead end-to-end execution of the NASCAR Experience and assist with NASCAR Kids Zone across race weekends
Oversee all programming, logistics, and operational elements to ensure consistency and quality
Serve as an on-site leader for Fan Zone activations when required
Experience Programming & Operations: Develop and manage stage and display programming, including Run of Show creation and execution
Coordinate all driver appearances, partner integrations, and live programming elements
Continuously introduce new ideas to enhance fan engagement and experience quality
Talent & Stakeholder Management: Act as primary liaison for Driver Services, including securing and managing driver appearances
Manage NASCAR Experience talent, including scheduling, travel, and onsite coordination
Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders (Licensing, XM Radio, NASCAR Foundation, etc.) to align programming and logistics
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Guest Services, Marketing, Partnerships, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution
Serve as liaison for key partners and vendors, includingRacing Electronics, Racing Experience, Regional Series, Speediatrics / NASCAR Foundation, Levy (Food & Beverage), Mack Trucks, Wasserman & EEG
Operational Management: Oversee credentialing and parking logistics for all Experience-related staff and talent
Manage weekly scheduling and staffing for Fan Service and Guest Service pods
Lead invoice tracking and budget-related coordination
Oversee IT and fiber needs for the Experience footprint
Manage waivers, trophy logistics, and asset distribution
Event Planning & Communication: Lead weekly NASCAR Experience planning calls
Maintain and distribute weekly schedules via the NASCAR Tracks App/Web
Manage creative requests (internally or via design tools such as Canva)
Submit and manage all non-NASCAR event asset requests
Logistics & Asset Management: Oversee Show Car program requests and coordination
Manage hard card distribution for all external vendors
Coordinate golf cart routing and transportation logistics for talent and stakeholders
Ensure proper placement and execution of all experiential assets onsite
Travel & Availability: Travel required for major event weekends and high-priority activations
Provide remote support during non-travel weekends as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
College degree, preferably in related business field, i.e., Marketing, Sports Management
Minimum 3-5 years sports & event experience required
Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive projects from concept through execution
Strong strategic, creative, and quick-thinking capabilities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent project management and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and concurrent workstreams effectively
Experience operating in live event environments with a strong understanding of onsite logistics
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Operational mindset with the ability to think critically and execute under pressure onsite
Collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-oriented approach
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Must be able to work extended hours and event weekends
60% travel required
Valid driver's license
