Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage significant construction projects, including a large hospital build or ground‑up bank headquarters in Lebanon, Indiana. The role requires leading projects from inception to completion, with a focus on commercial and educational buildings, such as K through 12 educational projects and water treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

Create the schedule in collaboration with the Project Manager.

Oversee site safety to ensure compliance with all regulations.

Create, maintain, and review all project documentation.

Provide project oversight and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Communicate effectively with trades, subcontractors, clients, and owners.

Manage project materials and resources efficiently.

Essential Skills

10+ years of experience in commercial construction.

10+ years as a superintendent on ground‑up projects.

Proven track record of managing at least 5 projects as the lead superintendent.

Experience with projects valued over $10 million.

Ability to travel to Lafayette, IN for a year or longer.

Permanent residence in central Indiana.

Proficiency in client‑facing roles and communication.

Experience with Procore software.

Capability to create construction schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to travel nationwide for up to 2 weeks at a time.

Healthcare construction project experience.

CHC certification.

K-12 construction experience.

Degree in Construction Management.

Experience with Microsoft Project.

Experience in water and wastewater projects.

Carpentry experience.

Work Environment The role is primarily on‑site, with a typical work schedule of 40-50 hours per week, subject to seasonal and weather changes. Busy seasons may require working 5 days a week for 10 hours each day. The company values family time and offers immediate employment after hire. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $165000.00/hr.
