Position Overview
Opportunity Leasing Consultant – Seattle, WA.
Days required: Tuesday – Saturday or Wednesday – Sunday.
Responsibilities
Supervise leasing consultants and other staff, including hiring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in collaboration with the community manager; set goals and deliver performance reviews.
Create, implement, adjust, and monitor the marketing plan, including inventory and updates to marketing collateral.
Monitor competitor activity, inform management of market conditions, identify potential challenges, and develop relationships with employers and prospect sources.
Review daily rent recommendations and proactively identify opportunities to maximize income; operate within budget and set leasing goals to meet occupancy and income targets.
Read, follow, and implement company and employee handbooks, property policy manuals, and governing documents.
Qualifications
Demonstrated sales and customer service experience.
Lease‑up experience preferred.
Yardi experience preferred.
Related property management experience.
Effective presentation and communication skills with employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Strong listening and teamwork abilities.
Availability to work weekends.
Yardi CRM or similar platform preferred.
Supervisory experience.
Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $23.00–$25.00 per hour.
Benefits include a 401(k) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts. Full‑time employees (30–40 hrs /week) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, other voluntary benefits and vacation accrual. Sick time accrual is provided in accordance with law.
$2,500 Sign‑On Bonus!
The bonus will be paid in two lump‑sum checks — 50% on the 45th day and 50% on the 90th day after starting employment. To earn the bonus, you must remain employed for 12 months after your start date.
