Role Overview Toorak is seeking an experienced Valuation Specialist / Appraiser to join our growing team in
Greenwood Village, CO . In this role, you will evaluate collateral against Toorak’s guidelines, analyze subject properties and comparables using online sources, review renovation budgets in relation to as-is and after-repair values, and deliver clear, defensible value findings in both written and verbal form.
Responsibilities
Analyze and reconcile multiple valuations using research and third-party data sources.
Evaluate collateral for conformity to Toorak guidelines, including budget review against as-is and after-repair values.
Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal colleagues on all aspects of valuation.
Track vendor performance and flag variances.
Support the servicing team with REO file valuations.
Assist with program development and guideline updates as needed.
Provide analytical support and contribute to special projects alongside the data analytics team.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in real estate valuation.
Experience with valuations in a multi-state lending environment.
Proficiency in budget analysis, as-is and ARV valuation, and return on investment calculations.
Familiarity with distressed properties and renovation/building cost analysis.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to work on-site as required.
