Job Summary The Workplace Experience Associate is a vital member of the CRE organization, responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience that delights all visitors and employees. As a representative of Equinix and the CRE organization, this role will play a crucial role in creating an environment that is welcoming, professional and reflects our company values. This role will report to the regional CRE Manager.
Responsibilities
Cover the Welcome Desk during business hours, providing a welcoming experience for customers and guests and ensuring timely sign‑in and badging in accordance with Equinix's guest policy.
Greet visitors and employees, CRE’s customers, engaging in conversation upon arrival and departure.
Maintain the Welcome Desk/reception area, ensuring it is clean and well maintained and no deliveries are left unattended.
Make the safety of our customers your first priority, know and implement emergency response plans, ensure all employees badge in and prevent tailgating, and coordinate visitor check‑ins using the Envoy visitor management system.
Provide courtesy by cultivating a positive vibe through engaging activities, creating a great workplace experience, and turning the office into a community through events and interactions.
Assist with scheduling and managing meeting rooms, arranging necessary equipment, supplies, and catering for events.
Handle deliveries of external and inter‑office mail and support employees on all mail and shipping requirements.
Provide directions and information to visitors to help acclimate them to the office and surrounding area.
Ensure timely and professional responses/communications to internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with the office ticketing system, follow up on ticket status, assign tickets to the correct CRE team member, or reroute to the correct department, ensuring no dead‑ends.
Answer customers' questions related to the building, including wayfinding, policies, procedures, and etiquette, and support new hires with guidance on CRE services and warm hand‑off to other teams such as IT.
Develop and execute internal communication strategies, disseminating important information and fostering employee engagement.
Act as a conduit for interdepartmental communication, facilitating cohesion and collaboration.
Create engaging and informative communications for office events and information using Outlook, Viva Engage, and Office Raven tools.
Own onsite event planning and execution, ensuring seamless experiences for all attendees.
Capture moments through photos to promote organizational culture and camaraderie.
Create marketing materials and promotional efforts, leveraging social platforms to generate excitement.
Manage event logistics and budgets meticulously, maximizing resources while delivering memorable experiences.
Gather post‑event feedback for future event enhancement.
Qualifications
Customer‑facing experience is essential; hospitality background a must.
Five years of experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree.
Excellent verbal and written English and communication skills, social media savvy.
Outstanding interpersonal and multi‑tasking skills are required.
Adept at dealing with difficult customers or situations, ensuring a successful outcome for both the customer and CRE.
Skilled at developing personal relationships with customers, peers, and business partners.
Pay Range United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 61,200 - 91,800 USD / Annual
