
Semiconductor Trainer - Course Developer

About the Role
Based in our San Jose office, you will develop and deliver training on Canon photolithography equipment. This includes preparing lesson plans, partnering with customers, maintaining equipment in training facilities, and ensuring equipment availability for training and demonstrations.
This position requires full‑time on‑site presence.
Your Impact
Conduct user training on Canon photolithography products both in‑house and at customer sites.
Provide classroom and laboratory training covering operation, preventive maintenance, application, and installation aspects of Canon photolithography equipment.
Develop new internal and external technical materials.
Revise existing technical materials to keep them current and accurate.
Verify accuracy of technical procedures to support field service technicians and customer needs.
Deliver detailed presentations on technical topics.
Operate, maintain training facilities and equipment, and prepare instructional sites at the San Jose facility.
Participate in discussion groups to share technical information and improve knowledge among less experienced colleagues.
Contact customers to discuss training needs and gather feedback on training programs and systems.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience and 3–5 years of related work experience.
Knowledge of semiconductor or photolithography equipment and maintenance preferred.
Prior experience as a technical trainer preferred.
Up to 50% U.S. travel may be required; a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are necessary.
Ability to work flexible shifts.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Extensive reading and visual inspection of small parts or defects, operation of machines, use of measurement devices, and assembly or fabrication work at close distances.
Work will occur in an office environment and a cleanroom environment (wearing full cleanroom suit, facemask, gloves, safety glasses).
Estimated base salary: $70,310 – $103,770.
