In this role, you’ll be a Work Package Owner overseeing the planning, engineering, design, and construction of advanced manufacturing facilities.
Your Impact As a Work Package Owner, you’ll join our collaborative team providing award‑winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design‑build project delivery. You will develop and deliver project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, helping our teams achieve our client’s objectives. You will be expected to multi‑task, communicate effectively, and tackle project challenges in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), including risk, sustainability, and schedule input.
Ensure technical bids conform to intent of Bid, identify gaps, and manage scope exceptions.
Collaborate with the Subcontracts Administrator on equalization
ormalization of bids.
Host weekly meetings with the Subcontractor, take notes, and distribute meeting minutes.
Ensure the Subcontractor has the latest version of all technical documents, including specifications and construction drawings.
Review RFIs and submittals, ensuring completeness before Subcontractor submission.
Monitor return of RFIs and submittals, expediting engineering assistance as required.
Coordinate changes, approve pay applications, and present to ACM for final approval.
Assist with development of Value Engineering ideas within the discipline.
Support Subcontract Administration on commercial matters.
Upload subcontractor turn over documents to ACC promptly.
Work closely with Subcontracts Administration, Project Controls, Accounting, Quality, and Turnover to ensure efficient close‑out of the subcontract.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
At least 8 years of experience managing construction projects.
Strong knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationship building.
Expert knowledge of CSA systems, including geotechnical soil analysis, concrete, structural steel, and architectural finishes.
Experience leading contractors and superintendents for current scope, engineering information, and construction documents.
Ability to manage scopes of work from Bid through execution, turnover, and close‑out.
Experience monitoring project budgets to ensure project requirements are met.
