The Senior Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist (Senior EHS Specialist) works with the oversight of the Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability Manager (EHS & S Manager) to ensure the organization adheres to federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations. This role involves collecting and monitoring environmental and safety data, preparing and submitting reports, and developing and enforcing internal compliance processes. The specialist will conduct appropriate inspections, provide training to plant personnel, and maintain records of compliance activities. Collects and monitors all Title V environmental data such as baghouse pressures, Sorbacal usage, natural gas usage, ink and glaze usage, etc. Report Preparation and Submission:

Creates and submits all required reports under the oversight of the EHS & S Manager and documents to EPA and TDEC government agencies, including for example Form R, Title V Permits, Tier II, hazardous waste reporting, emission inventory, special waste, greenhouse gas reporting, ISO 14001, Stormwater Monitoring and Reporting, SPCC Spill Prevention Planning, Montgomery County Green Certification, Tennessee Green Squared, and other EPA Reporting. Inspections and Compliance:

Conducts inspections and supports and enforces internal processes to comply with federal, state, and local laws. Identifies and reports potential compliance violations and recommends solutions. Training:

Provides training to plant personnel regarding environmental and safety goals, policies, processes, and procedures. Record Maintenance:

Maintains records related to compliance. Waste Management:

Segregates, packages, and documents various types of waste and oversees hazardous and special waste recycling/pickup. Regulatory Coordination:

Coordinates with regulatory agencies regarding hazardous materials. Incident Management:

Anticipates, prevents, and responds to environmental incidents and spills. Sample Management:

Collects, packages, and sends samples for special waste and analytical testing when necessary. Compliance Testing:

Assists in compliance testing, including stack testing, visual emissions, and stormwater. Community and Government Coordination:

Coordinates with local businesses and county government for training, round table meetings, LEPC meetings, and collective problem‑solving. Regulatory Updates:

Stays up to date on EPA and TDEC guidelines and regulations. Sustainability and Governance:

Upholds and adheres to standards of excellence in Corporate Governance, Environmental Sustainability, Employee well‑being, and Community engagement. Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field with 8+ years of progressive responsibility in a manufacturing environment or a combination of education and experience. Proficient in regulatory issues such as permitting, environmental and safety policy, and processes. Occasionally lift up to 45 pounds. What We Offer
