Seeking a technical sales representative for steam, condensate, and water equipment serving the commercial and industrial markets. The ideal candidate will combine strong engineering expertise with excellent interpersonal and sales skills. This posting is for our Buda, TX location.

Since 1987, we have built a reputation for delivering top-quality products and exceptional customer service. With two office locations in San Antonio, TX, and Buda, TX, we are committed to serving our customers with the expertise and reliability they’ve come to trust. Expectations of the position:
Demonstrate dependability and collaboration as a team player, with a strong desire to grow within a small company, driving success through contributions and helping to expand the business in the Austin commercial market. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions and products that meet their requirements. Possess in-depth knowledge of steam, condensate, and water equipment and accessories, along with a solid understanding of the systems they integrate with. Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend technical data and engineering drawings. Prepare and deliver comprehensive proposals, bids, and submittal packages to potential clients. Generate and process purchase orders efficiently, ensuring timely submission to vendors. Maintain consistent communication with prospective customers and actively manage open proposals to drive sales opportunities. Achieve and exceed company sales targets through proactive business development. Continuously strive to surpass customer expectations by delivering outstanding service and results. Requirements and preferences for hire:
Must possess foundational knowledge or hands-on experience with commercial and industrial mechanical equipment, including centrifugal pumps, heat exchangers, and steam pressure-reducing valves. A degree in engineering (preferably in industrial distribution or mechanical) preferred, but not required if the candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings is mandatory. Must have a valid driver’s license and Social Security card In your resume/application, be sure to make note of any skills or extra knowledge you think may be helpful to us such as skills with programs like AutoCAD or SolidWorks. This is not required, but it would be useful to know when considering candidates. We offer:
Base pay with commission incentive. Yearly bonuses based on employee performance after the first year employed. Cell phone and laptop Medical insurance. 401k & 401k matching. Sick days allowed. Bi-weekly pay. Personal paid time off allowed after becoming stabilized in the position. One week paid vacation after the 1st year and 2 weeks after the 2nd year.
