Nuclear Medicine Tech

Responsibilities
Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including Bone Scan, 3‑Phase, Limited, Whole‑Body Myocardial, Exercise/Rest‑Multiple, Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, PET Scan, Thyroid Studies, Uptake Scan, Lung Scan, Ventilation/Perfusion.
Start and maintain IVs, and handle the storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials.
Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
Float to outpatient department as needed, located a block away.
Participate in on‑call duties as discussed with the manager.
Skills
Proficient in using PET Scan equipment, specifically GE and Siemens.
Knowledgeable in professional healthcare standards and safety measures.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
Certifications required: ARRT N, ARRT N and/or NMTCB, CNMT, NMTCB.
Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
