Employee Benefits Account Manager

We’re partnering with a growing national employee benefits organization to hire an Employee Benefits Account Manager to support a high-volume book of small group clients (10–50 employees). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys renewals, open enrollment, and being a trusted day-to-day resource for clients — all within a collaborative, team-based support model.

Responsibilities Manage a book of approximately 50 small group clients, handling 4–6 renewals per month from start to finish Support the full renewal lifecycle, including plan strategy, marketing, carrier negotiations, and client recommendations Lead open enrollment processes, including benefit education, enrollment support, and coordination through platforms like Employee Navigator Provide ongoing client service throughout the year, including eligibility changes, policy updates, audits, and general service needs Partner closely with internal leadership and support teams in a national, shared-service model

Requirements Active Florida Health & Life insurance license (required) 3+ years of employee benefits experience, ideally supporting small group clients Strong understanding of fully insured plans, renewals, and open enrollment processes Comfortable managing a high-volume book of business while maintaining strong attention to detail and client service Experience working in a fast-paced agency or brokerage environment
