
Data Analyst III - Marketing Analytics

The Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst III to join the Fanatics Betting & Gaming organization, responsible for ongoing performance tracking, reporting, and ad‑hoc queries from stakeholders in the Online Casino vertical. The role reports into the Analytics Manager and will focus on creating insight to shape acquisition strategy, partnering closely with senior commercial stakeholders and their teams.
Supporting commercial stakeholders with Casino strategy will be a top priority for this analyst, as well as providing ongoing analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of Fanatics Betting and Gaming, as well as related products and operations.
Support commercial stakeholders by delivering performance tracking, reporting, and analytical insights related to Sportsbook and broader business initiatives.
Conduct both recurring and ad‑hoc analyses to help stakeholders understand trends, performance drivers, and areas of opportunity.
Gather, analyze, and present key metrics and insights to stakeholders, helping translate data into clear business context.
Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across Digital Acquisition, Sportsbook, Casino, and Data teams.
Collaborate with other Analysts and Data Scientists to support analytical projects and business problem solving.
Contribute to the development and improvement of reporting and analytics processes.
Stay up to date with developments in data analytics tools, methodologies, and trends in the sports betting and gaming industry.
Experience and Skills
3‑5 years proven experience in an analytics role.
Degree in a relevant field, e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
Strong SQL proficiency and experience working with large data sets.
Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, e.g. Tableau or PowerBI.
Strong proficiency in a statistical programming language, e.g. R or Python is an advantage.
Experience in data analysis or statistical model development, with a strong understanding of statistics concepts such as multivariate testing.
Demonstrated ability to partner closely with stakeholders, earning trust and prioritizing relationships.
Customer focused; highly outcome‑oriented and data‑driven; experienced in working in high‑growth environments.
Logical and analytical approach to problem solving, with strong organizational and skills.
Confident with presenting insights to non‑technical audiences, seeking to match the analysis to the business context, and making recommendations on further steps.
Previous experience in the betting and gaming industry is a significant plus.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 USD.
