About the Role
Our client is seeking an
Architectural Designer (2D & 3D)
to join its Los Angeles studio. This role is ideal for a designer with solid technical grounding in Revit and AutoCAD, paired with strong 3D modelling, visualisation, and rendering skills using 3ds Max (and/or similar software). The position offers the opportunity to work on complex, design-driven hospitality and commercial projects under the guidance of senior architects and project managers.
Responsibilities
Support project teams in the development of design and documentation from concept through construction phases.
Create accurate architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and details using
Revit
and
AutoCAD .
Produce high-quality 3D models, visualisations, and renderings to express design intent (using
3ds Max ,
V-Ray , or similar tools).
Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and consultants to ensure coordinated, technically sound design solutions.
Assist with presentation materials, design packages, and client visuals for both internal and external use.
Participate in design review sessions, contributing creative ideas and practical design solutions.
Support senior staff with coordination tasks, including consultant drawings, material research, and redlining.
Ensure all models and drawings meet internal quality standards and align with project schedules.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related design discipline.
3–6 years of relevant architectural experience, ideally including hospitality or commercial projects.
Proficiency in
Revit
and
AutoCAD
for 2D and technical documentation.
Strong working knowledge of
3ds Max
(or equivalent 3D software such as SketchUp, Rhino, or Enscape) for modelling and rendering.
A good understanding of construction detailing, building systems, and documentation standards.
Strong visual presentation skills and a detail‑oriented, organised workflow.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a collaborative studio environment.
