Commercial Lines Account Manager

Summary Our client, a highly respected and growing insurance brokerage, is seeking a Commercial Client Manager to join their team. This individual will partner closely with senior advisors and leadership to deliver exceptional service to a diverse commercial client portfolio while also supporting internal service team operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned commercial accounts, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction throughout the policy lifecycle.

Support and back up administrative servicing needs including binders, certificates, evidence of property, auto ID cards, MVRs, endorsements, invoicing, audits, claims, cancellations, and policy reviews.

Oversee new business and renewal processes, including reviewing risk exposure and advising clients on appropriate coverage solutions.

Partner with senior advisors to develop and execute marketing strategies for new and renewal business.

Prepare submissions, market accounts to carriers, and negotiate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing.

Collaborate with underwriters to gather necessary information and ensure timely placement of business.

Assist in monitoring complex claims and risk control matters in coordination with internal specialists.

Review contracts and leases to identify potential risk exposures and ensure compliance considerations are addressed.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

Communicate billing and payment requirements clearly to clients.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and potential oversight to junior team members, including training and workflow support.

Qualifications

Active California Property & Casualty Insurance License required.

5+ years of commercial insurance account management experience.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and agency management systems (e.g., EPIC or similar).
