Job Overview The Database Management Analyst III is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing database management operations, software development environments, and integrated development processes supporting mission-critical systems. This position requires extensive experience in engineering or information technology and the ability to lead technical teams involved in software development and computer-based training systems.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain enterprise database systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
Oversee Integrated Development Environment (IDE) operations and Configuration and Asset Management (CAM) processes.
Lead and coordinate technical teams supporting software development and computer-based training systems.
Support development and maintenance of Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to design and implement database solutions.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies.
Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or 18 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree).
More than 15 years of professional experience in engineering or IT with demonstrated experience managing database systems and development environments.
Experience leading technical teams in software development and computer-based training systems.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) are desired but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
More than 20 years of professional experience in engineering or IT.
Experience with Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software development.
Background in secure software development lifecycle processes.
Experience working in government or defense-related environments.
