Ahava Services LLC is seeking an experienced
SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA)
to manage, optimize, and support our database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database performance, security, availability, and reliability across systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain SQL Server databases
Perform database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
Ensure high availability using Always On, clustering, log shipping, and replication
Develop and maintain SSIS packages for data integration
Implement database security best practices, including encryption and compliance
Automate tasks using PowerShell scripting
Support data warehouse integration and data pipelines
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal database health
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Extensive experience with
SQL Server (2008–2022)
Strong expertise in
SSIS development and performance tuning
Hands-on experience with
HA/DR solutions
(Always On, Log Shipping, Clustering, Replication)
Solid understanding of
database security and compliance
Experience with
PowerShell scripting
Experience with
data warehouse integration
Working knowledge of
MySQL administration
Preferred Skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Experience in enterprise or public sector environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
