Cybersecurity Analyst (SME) – Orlando, FL (on-site). Full-time position with regular weekly hours (0700-1600). Full benefit program, including health, PTO, and 401k + contribution.

Responsibilities
Support the efforts to coordinate the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) of systems in accordance with the Risk Management Framework outlined by NIST and DoD guidance, including initial C&A, FISMA, and re-accreditation requirements.
Coordinate and ensure Assess and Authorization (A&A) of systems are in accordance with RMF, ICD 503/DCID 6/3, DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, and AR 25-2, including initial A&A, FISMA, and re-authorization requirements.
Provide Information Security (IS) engineering support to integrate required security characteristics into system performance objectives; support security certifications and vulnerabilities management.
Assist with preparation and generation of security A&A documentation; coordinate with the Authorizing Official (AO) to obtain successful system accreditation (e.g., RMF/NIST controls such as SP, COOP, CMP, POA&M).
Provide Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) support, including dissemination, installation, IAVA reporting, and compliance procedures; liaise with system administrators and cybersecurity personnel.
Provide configuration management support of IS software and hardware; maintain licenses and ensure security documentation is current and accessible.
Ensure log files and audits are maintained and that authentication policies are reviewed for compliance.
Review and evaluate the security effects of changes to systems and networks, including interfaces with other ISs, and document changes.
Maintain cybersecurity posture and accreditation boundaries during IS support and maintenance.
Conduct self-assessments, document validation results, and generate POA&Ms in support of eMASS processes.
Provide independent validation and assessment support by conducting vulnerability scans, ensuring STIG compliance, and reviewing DoD/Army RMF/NIST artifacts to assess cybersecurity posture; document results and provide recommendations for A&A decisions.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Certification:
A minimum of IAT Level II certification IAW DODM 8570.01.
Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance Required.
Experience:
DHA Medical Simulation and Training experience preferred.
Security & Background Check:
U.S. Citizenship and a successful background investigation are required; ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to comply with government vaccination requirements.
