Job Overview Are you a skilled Commercial Roofing professional with exceptional leadership abilities?
We are looking for a
Service Manager for our Commercial Roofing Division
to fill an opening immediately in Indianapolis, IN.
The ideal Service Manager will have experience in low-slope commercial roofing, managing personnel, meeting with business owners and homeowners regularly to conduct sales and business transactions, a customer service focus in their work, and ability to interact professionally with customers. The qualified candidate will be able to start all jobs with meeting with customer/business owner, pick up or order all materials for job, perform quality control on all jobs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Start all projects with meeting with customer and business owner
Mentor project management staff
Ensure timely sourcing of required materials
Perform quality control on all jobs
Authorize employee payroll and earnings
Collect payment on all projects
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
2+ years of hands‑on commercial roofing experience
Prior experience conducting sales meetings
Prior experience with meeting clients and prospects face to face
Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and computer data entry
Experience managing staff/personnel
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Must be able to climb ladder safely and work at elevated heights on rooftops
Ability to work 2 Saturdays a month from March to November and 1 Saturday a month from November to March
Ability to pull a trailer behind a work truck
Willingness to work long hours during busy season
Military service a plus
