Freelance Video Editor

Melinda Maria is looking for a creative, dynamic, and efficient freelance Editor to create branded content and social media, and support marketing needs. In this role, you will work closely with the Creative team to play a pivotal role in creating elevated pieces of content for campaign launches, short form content, and more. The ideal candidate should have a strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere, an eye for design, a strong sense of visual storytelling, and a proven track record of creative work. Portfolio required. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Craft, design, edit, present, prepare, and deliver assets for digital channels in conjunction with Marketing Team Keep pace with social media, AI, & design trends, then apply learnings to content creation and share them with the team Edit ancillary content for use on our ecommerce site Create, manipulate, and refine AI-generated video Consistently meet or exceed deadlines Work in a team environment and take direction from Art/Marketing Directors amongst others BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of creating for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc. 2+ years of professional experience in video editing 1+ years with how to manipulate and iterate to perfect AI-created video Expert in in-app editorial design and effects Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop Proficient with After Effects Proficient with Microsoft Office Products Proficient with Box, Slack, and G Suite Must be local to Los Angeles Must be comfortable working on-site PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Advanced experience in Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud programs Proficient with creating transcodes (Davinci Resolve preferred) Experience in shooting and handling a wide range of video files, from 4K native files to iPhone footage a BIG plus Experience with editing various file formats, aspect ratios, and exporting compression types Experience working with Asana or other project management software Creative problem-solver Positive, proactive and able to consistently exercise great judgment Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information #J-18808-Ljbffr
