$60,000 - $80,000 + Annual Bonus

About Us

Sweeney Financial Management is a fee-only, fiduciary registered investment advisor managing approximately $410 million in assets under management. We are 100% partner-owned, independent, and built on a foundation of objective, long-term financial advice. We custody assets at Charles Schwab and serve clients across the Northeast and other parts of the country. We are growing, and we are looking for a motivated marketing professional to help us amplify our brand, deepen client loyalty, and drive organic growth.


The Role

As Marketing Associate, you will be the engine behind our marketing operations, bridging high-level strategy and daily execution. You will own the firm’s multi-channel marketing calendar, manage our brand presence across digital and print channels, support business development initiatives, and work together with our advisors and firm leadership to drive measurable growth. This is a high-visibility role with direct impact on the firm’s next chapter.


What You Will Do

Campaign Management & Content

•    Lead end-to-end execution of email marketing, including client newsletters, market commentaries, and planned and unplanned client touchpoints

•    Own the firm’s social media presence, adapting long-form content, articles, videos, and market updates into platform-specific posts that drive engagement and establish authority

•    Develop compelling written content that translates complex financial topics into clear, engaging, and compliance-appropriate copy

•    Maintain a consistent publishing cadence across all channels in alignment with the firm’s marketing calendar


Brand & Design

•    Create and manage Sweeney Financial Management’s style guide, serving as the final gatekeeper for brand consistency across all visual and written communications

•    Ensure all marketing materials, digital and print, reflect the firm’s modern professional aesthetic and fiduciary brand identity

•    Produce or coordinate design of collateral, including pitch materials, event promotions, client handouts, and advisor-facing sales tools


Events & Business Development Support

•    Manage logistics and promotion for webinars, seminars, and exclusive client events to drive high attendance and positive ROI

•    Provide advisors with the digital tools and collateral needed to convert prospects and generate referrals

•    Support organic growth initiatives, including COI outreach campaigns, prospect nurture sequences, and referral programs


What We Are Looking For


Required

•    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

•    3+ years of marketing experience, ideally within financial services, wealth management, or professional consulting

•    Hands-on experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms

•    Strong editorial skills with the ability to write clearly about complex financial topics for a sophisticated audience

•    Proficiency with graphic design, email marketing, and website management tools

•    Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects with precision and consistently meet deadlines

•    Self-starter who takes ownership, works independently, and thrives in a small, collaborative team environment


Preferred

•    Experience marketing within a registered investment advisor (RIA), broker-dealer, or financial planning firm

•    Familiarity with compliance considerations in financial services marketing (FINRA, SEC, or state RIA guidelines)

•    Experience with basic video editing and AI-driven marketing tools


Compensation & Benefits

•    $60,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience
