The Role

We are seeking a Junior Account Manager to build and nurture long-term, trusting relationships with one of our key big-box retail partners. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about bringing customer visions to life.

As a Junior Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, partnering closely with factories and designers to execute product concepts, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. You will work directly with key business executives, manage day-to-day account needs, and support the preparation of sales reports and performance insights.

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience, identify opportunities for growth, and help deliver high-quality solutions that align with both client expectations and business objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Sales contact for all customer account management matters
  • Resolving customer issues and complaints
  • Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
  • Planning and preparing presentations for account meetings
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in developing new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Identify and source new product development opportunities aligned with customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with designers to develop and execute product concepts, ensuring customer visions are brought to life
  • Work directly with factories to request and evaluate product quotes, ensuring cost, quality, and timelines align with project requirements


Skills

  • 1-2 years’ experience as an Account Manager, Junior Account Manager, Sales coordinator, or relevant role
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Understanding of retailer accounts and their position in the industry
  • Eagerness to learn and grow your business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint), Canva
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
