Position Overview
Linfield University is seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy CRM Specialist to join our enrollment team. This role is integral to achieving the University's enrollment goals and requires an individual who is committed to providing exceptional service, proactive follow-up, and effectively aligning prospective students' needs with Linfield's academic offerings.
Key Responsibilities • Serve as the CRM subject matter expert, leading system implementation, configuration, maintenance, training, and ongoing enhancements of the University's Enrollment Software System. • Identify inefficiencies within admission processes and address them through continuous CRM improvement and optimization. • Support admission operations from application creation through decision processing. • Partner with Admission leadership to create and deploy integrated communication and mailing campaigns. • Manage all CRM-related software processes, including integrations with third-party service providers. • Analyze current and historical data to identify patterns, trends, and issues, and develop strategies to support enrollment goals. • Manage and monitor CRM user security permissions. • Coordinate the annual update of the Common Application. • Collaborate with campus partners (including Financial Aid, Advising, Athletics, Information Technology, and others) to identify requirements that influence CRM design, configuration, and daily operations. • Maintain and support online forms and processes for advising, registration, and other campus functions for incoming students. • Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure continuity and backup support for CRM operations. • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience • Bachelor's degree required. • 3+ years of experience in admissions, financial aid, and/or CRM management. • Previous experience in private higher education undergraduate admission preferred.
Technology Skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to use university software systems to create and maintain student admission records. • Preferred: Experience with Slate CRM.
Human Relations Skills • Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Demonstrated sense of urgency, responsiveness, and customer service orientation. • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Sensitivity to the needs of students and admission staff.
Additional Requirements • Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the University's plan. • Willingness to work occasional evenings and/or weekends. • Commitment to supporting and advancing Linfield University's mission.
