Responsible for the input of professional charges, updating and maintaining accurate patient demographic and insurance information. Performing audits of data to ensure accuracy of charges and claims being billed. Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING High School or GED Medical Billing Certificate preferred Minimum of one (1) year experience in the medical billing field preferred Medical Terminology Working experience with ICDA, CPT, and HCPCS codes Knowledge of insurance industry; HMO, FFS, WC, PPO Pay Transparency
