The Auto Body Apprentice works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs. Key Job Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.Repairs vehicles as per insurance guidelines and our quality standardsInspect and disassemble the vehicle to determine all damages at the beginning of the repairRepair minor damage to vehicle’s body panelsRepair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components and vehicle accessoriesReassemble vehicle once repairs are completeInspect completed work to ensure the repair is up to quality standardsShadow a Licensed Auto Body Technician to perform repairsActively pursues learning opportunities and applies newly gained knowledge to tasks, contributing to high-quality work and continuous improvement.Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the JobHigh School Diploma or equivalentCompletion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair ProgramMinimum 1 years of Auto Body Technician experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesWelding experience (MIG, TIG welding)Other Requirements Travel, physical requirements, etc.Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.You have your own toolboxValid driver’s license required Please note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
