The Services Inside Sales Manager plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious revenue growth objectives. This position requires the ability to manage a team, setting goals and expectations, establishing a team vision, enabling success of the team members, and measuring the overall performance of the group and individuals. You must be comfortable multitasking and interacting directly with ABB Customers. You will build relationships internally with the Operations Teams, Commercial Proposal Managers, Sales Managers and Administrators. A certain level of technical knowledge of electrical products and services will be expected. An ability to learn processes quickly and think creatively will be necessary to add value to customers. This position operates in a dynamic environment where it is imperative to be able to organize, prioritize and have confidence in responding. This is a fully remote position based in the United States. This role is contributing to the Electrification Services Division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: Lead and develop a national Inside Sales team, setting success metrics, managing workload balance, and driving performance. Optimize processes, proposal development, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales Directors, factories, engineering, and partner organizations. Build team capability through training, coaching, and daily support while fostering a positive, customer-focused culture. Oversee proposal accuracy, support order closure, and ensure the team meets quarterly quotas and operational deadlines. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (preferred) and 5 years relevant work experience, or a High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience required. Experience in proposal or quote development, sales support, or order administration in the electrical industry, ideally with a services background. Managerial experience leading 5+ team members preferred. General knowledge of power transmission & distribution products/systems preferred. Previous experience with business-to-business customer support preferred. Ability to travel up to 30% as needed. ABB provides 11 paid holidays. Salaried exempt positions are provided vacation under a permissive time away policy. While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $119,000 and $190,400 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
