The Data Entry Specialist will provide support to the Scheduler by entering Customer Purchase Orders, Processing Work Orders for Production, Processing Internal Work Orders for Production, Updating Production Schedules and providing support for all departments. The Data Entry Specialist communicates with Scheduling, Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Production departments as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Enter orders into the company's ERP system Assist Scheduler in planning and performing production related activities. Prioritize, plan, and schedule production activities to meet manufacturing objectives in timely and cost-effective manner. Communicate customer and production updates to Scheduler and Department Manager(s) on regular basis. Create and maintain schedule for internal orders. Answer phones as needed. Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to pivot in a fast pace environment Time management/prioritizing Ability to navigate an ERP system Excellent interpersonal skills Requires effective oral and written communication skills Computer literacy with all Microsoft applications Critical thinking Effective problem solving Exceptional attention to detail & time-management skill Experience and Education: High School Diploma or GED 1
3 years manufacturing experience preferred but not required Equivalent combination of education and experience.
