Physical Therapist Assistant
Schedule: Days, 8 hours Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours Requirements: 1 year of PTA experience (required) Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience (required) PTA license (required) Roles & Responsibilities: Implement components of patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist. Assist patients with stretching and exercising designated muscle groups. Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care plans as necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy environment. Assist in transferring patients from mobility aids to therapy areas. Complete administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.
