Monitor overdue accounts and reach out to customers to resolve delinquencies and restore accounts to good standing. Handle customer questions and requests concerning balances, billing statements, contract terms, payment options, and other account-related issues. Use skip tracing techniques and thorough document reviews to locate customers and re-establish contact when necessary. Work with customers to create realistic repayment plans and alternative solutions that align with company policies. Track down delinquent accounts through multiple channels such as skip tracing, phone calls, and formal letters, then secure payment commitments. Implement collection procedures efficiently to deliver excellent service, optimize recoveries, and strengthen the long-term health of the portfolio Draft and send all collection notices and default letters according to established departmental standards. Suggest appropriate resolution strategies for past-due accounts following company guidelines. Compile background details and supporting information for the Credit team to evaluate requests for lease transfers, modifications, or extensions on delinquent accounts. Provide support on customer service matters that impact or relate to the collections process. Collaborate with leadership to build stronger customer service abilities and professional growth. Alert management immediately when potential risks or issues are identified. Coordinate with team members to resolve disputes involving personal property taxes or additional fees. Help the Accounting department with proper identification and application of incoming payments as needed. Generate monthly reports on delinquency trends and account statuses. Carry out additional collections duties as directed by the Collections Supervisor. Engage fully in performance reviews and goal-setting sessions that track both productivity and quality standards. Maintain a solid grasp of contractual terms and clearly explain them to customers when needed. Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by management.
