Overview An established and highly respected consultancy is seeking a Senior Architect to join its Owner’s Representative team in Miami. This role is suited to a seasoned professional with a strong technical background, extensive experience across commercial projects, and forensic experience.
Key Responsibilities Act as the Owner’s Representative across a range of commercial projects, ensuring design intent, quality, and technical standards are upheld Provide expert technical oversight throughout all phases of design and construction Conduct forensic investigations into building envelope, structural, and construction-related issues Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, root causes, and recommended remedial actions Collaborate with developers, consultants, contractors, and legal teams where required Review construction documents, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve technical challenges Support dispute resolution processes, including expert witness testimony where applicable
Requirements 15+ years of professional architectural experience Licensed Architect (RA) required Strong technical expertise across building systems, construction methods, and detailing Demonstrated forensic experience, including investigations, reporting, and remediation strategies Extensive commercial project experience Proven ability to operate in an advisory/owner-facing capacity Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in technical reporting Experience working with legal teams or in dispute resolution is highly desirable
