Senior Trust Associate (Brooklyn)

Overview We are seeking a Senior Trust Associate to support institutional client accounts within a banking environment. This role focuses on client servicing, transaction processing, compliance oversight, and trust/custody operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in banking and institutional client management.
Key Responsibilities Partner with Relationship Managers to service and monitor institutional client accounts Process client-directed transactions including wires, cash transfers, and securities trades Review daily cash reports, overdrafts, and investment balances Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Serve as a primary point of contact for client inquiries and issue resolution Build and maintain relationships with clients and third-party service providers Review and interpret trust/custody agreements and documentation Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Assist with reporting requirements for regulatory agencies (DOL, IRS, etc.) Support client relationship reviews and retention efforts Provide backup support to team members and assist with administrative tasks
Required Qualifications 2–4 years of experience in financial services or institutional client servicing Banking experience is required Knowledge of securities processing and banking operations Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related tools Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications Experience with trust/custody, pension plans, or commercial banking Client-facing or consulting experience Exposure to institutional clients such as corporate, non-profit, or public funds Strong understanding of financial products and services
