Director of Financial Planning & Analysis
Alliance Technical Group is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting in a fast-paced, private equity–backed environment. This leader will partner closely with senior executives to deliver actionable insights, support growth initiatives, and drive enterprise value across the organization. This role oversees divisional FP&A activities, manages a team, and requires periodic travel. We are looking for someone that is open to working in Decatur, AL, Pensacola, FL or Baytown TX.
Key Responsibilities Lead monthly financial reporting, including flash reports, variance analysis, and performance reporting packages Partner with business unit leaders to analyze results, identify risks/opportunities, and drive accountability Own forecasting processes, including rolling forecasts and scenario modeling Lead annual budgeting across the organization Deliver insights and analysis to executive leadership and private equity stakeholders Support acquisitions, including integration, reporting, and pro forma consolidation Drive process, system, and reporting improvements Manage, mentor, and develop FP&A team members Support ad hoc strategic and financial analysis
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MBA/MSF preferred) 7+ years of FP&A, investment banking, consulting, or related experience Experience in private equity-backed or high-growth environments preferred Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate effectively with executives NetSuite / NSPB experience a plus Leadership experience managing and developing teams Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
