We’re seeking an experienced
Director, Finance
to serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership reporting to the CFO. This role leads internal and external financial reporting, oversees SEC and regulatory filings, strengthens internal controls, and drives high‑quality financial processes across the organization. The Director, Finance will guide month‑end and quarter‑end close cycles, enhance reporting procedures, support treasury operations, and collaborate closely with auditors, Investor Relations, and cross‑functional teams. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, internal controls, and financial analysis. A CPA is required. The role will be based in Salt Lake City, and relocation is required.
Key Responsibilities Include: Lead financial reporting and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements Oversee audits and manage relationships with internal/external auditors Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and governance Review budgets, forecasts, and long‑term financial outlook Prepare consolidated financial statements and related disclosures Support tax compliance and provision processes with external advisors Improve financial systems, reporting processes, and efficiency initiatives
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business CPA required 10+ years accounting/finance experience, including public company reporting Strong technical accounting and SEC reporting background Mining or natural resources experience a plus, but not required
