position at the
Savannah River Site (SRS) . Pay:
$80–$88/hr Location:
Savannah River Site, SC (100% Onsite) Schedule:
Full-time (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST) Citizenship:
U.S. Citizenship Required Mandatory Experience Requirement – Read Before Applying Candidates must have: A degree in business, construction management, engineering, or related field
(Master’s + 5 years, Bachelor’s + 7 years, Associate’s + 11 years, or HS diploma + 15 years of relevant experience) . Demonstrated experience leading
project controls functions
including cost, schedule, estimating, and financial analysis on complex projects. Expert proficiency in
project controls systems and tools
(e.g., Primavera P6, cost management systems, EVMS). Strong experience performing
cost and schedule control, variance analysis, and reporting
to leadership. Applicants without project controls experience, cost/schedule expertise, or systems proficiency will
not
be considered. Impact As a Lead Business Analyst – Project Controls, you will play a critical role in ensuring
successful execution of DOE projects
by driving cost and schedule performance, financial visibility, and strategic decision-making. You will also play a key role in
coordinating systems, stakeholders, and testing efforts
tied to enterprise applications and project controls modernization efforts. You will serve as a
technical leader and SME , helping guide teams and improve project execution across major programs. Responsibilities and Duties Project Controls Leadership: Lead development and execution of
project controls programs Provide technical leadership in
cost, schedule, estimating, and financial analysis Develop
project baselines, WBS structures, and milestone schedules Cost & Schedule Management: Monitor and control
project cost and schedule performance Perform
variance analysis
and recommend corrective actions Support
change management processes Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present
financial and project performance reports Lead
project cost reviews and schedule meetings Conduct complex analysis to support decision-making Systems & Tools: Utilize tools such as
Primavera P6, EVMS, and cost systems Maintain and enhance
site business systems Support development of improved project controls processes Team Leadership & Development: Provide
mentorship and technical direction
to project controls personnel Support training and development initiatives Drive best practices across project controls functions Additional Duties (Systems & Project Coordination): Manage logistics between
Ideagen and SRNS , including onboarding, badging (PIV), equipment, and system access Ensure system and account access is maintained for all project personnel Maintain and track
project schedules, progress, and resource allocation
(Ideagen and site stakeholders) Coordinate
in-person meetings , scheduling, and logistics between project teams Coordinate project resources for
module testing (configuration, UAT, etc.) Support
testing execution and training development
for system modules Participate in
configuration review testing and validation activities Facilitate discussions to resolve
project board items and issues Support communication and status reporting between
classified and unclassified systems (EPS / STAR) Participate in
status meetings across multiple system environments Lead planning and execution of
testing activities prior to go-live , including: Module testing Integration/comprehensive testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Coordinate issue resolution with
Ideagen Application Engineers
and ensure successful retesting Tools & Skills: Primavera P6 (preferred advanced experience) Cost management & estimating systems Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Advanced Excel and reporting tools Site business systems Enterprise systems (Ideagen / DevonWay preferred) Minimum Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship required Master’s + 5 years, Bachelor’s + 7 years, Associate’s + 11 years, or HS + 15 years relevant experience Strong experience in
project controls (cost, schedule, estimating, financial analysis) Expert proficiency with
project controls tools and systems Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills Required Skills: Education: Master's degree in business / construction management / technical / engineering or related field with 5 years experience OR Bachelor’s with 7 years OR Associate’s with 11 years OR High School Diploma with 15 years relevant experience Core Skills: Strong personal computer skills Expert proficiency in
automated accounting, cost management, scheduling, and estimating systems Practical experience with
site business systems Comprehensive understanding of
project management, cost and schedule control , and lifecycle phases (operations, maintenance, startup, construction) Preferred Skills: Active or recent
DOE L or Q clearance Highly experienced in
Primavera P6 Working knowledge of
Ideagen / DevonWay iCAS EPS and Issues Management modules Experience reviewing/approving
Level I and Level II Purchase Requisitions Additional Education (Preferred) Bachelor of Science in
