ues.io is hiring: Senior UI/UX Developer in Miami
ues.io, Miami, FL, United States
Role Overview
As a Senior UI/UX Developer at ues.io, you will play a critical role in designing and developing the core platform’s user experience—from the visual builder and extensibility workflows to property/config panels, scripting interfaces, and runtime previews. You will combine deep React and TypeScript expertise with a passion for elegant, highly-usable interfaces that make building advanced apps accessible—while still offering escape hatches for code and customization. This is a remote, senior-level role for candidates who can work autonomously, collaborate effectively across time zones, and set a high standard for modern UI/UX.
Responsibilities
Lead Design & Prototyping
– Collaborate with Product and Design to prototype visually compelling, intuitive builder experiences (drag-and-drop canvases, property editors,etc.).
– Develop wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes that elegantly balance visual simplicity with deep power.
Architect & Develop Advanced Front Ends
– Build robust, reusable, and extensible components for dynamic canvases, layout engines, and configuration panels.
– Implement and iterate advanced drag-and-drop, real-time preview, and schema/declarative-driven UI patterns.
– Implement robust state management and responsive, accessible layouts.
– Design, implement, and document performant front-end systems and APIs using React and TypeScript.
Mentor & Influence
– Set and enforce best practices for modern React/TypeScript front-end quality, accessibility, and usability.
– Share knowledge, conduct code/design reviews, and guide less experienced team members through remote collaboration.
Drive Continuous Improvement
– Lead and contribute to user research, feature iteration, and rapid usability improvement based on user feedback.
– Help maintain and evolve the design system and shared UI libraries.
– Collaborate asynchronously with global team members for maximum impact.
Requirements
– 7+ years front-end development with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
– Demonstrated, production-level experience architecting modern UIs.
– Solid portfolio or product examples showing complex, interactive builders, editors, dashboards, or design systems.
– Deep understanding of accessibility (WCAG, ARIA), usability, and responsive design for web.
– Experience collaborating remotely and managing asynchronous communication.
– Skilled with drag-and-drop libraries and integrating APIs or schema/declarative data into UIs.
– Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Nice to Have
– Past work on extensible no-code, low-code, or automation platforms.
– Experience implementing or integrating visual code/script editors.
– Background in building white-label SaaS or no-code/low-code products.• Familiarity with design tokens, monorepo front-end architecture, or advanced testing strategies.
– Experience with modern design tool(s) (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
– Go (Golang) development experience.
