Social Media Content Creator - Fashion Accessories (Full-Time)

Overview Velvet Caviar is looking for a Content Creator who’s passionate for creating scroll-stopping social media content for fashion accessories. You’ll be responsible for shooting short form videos for Instagram and TikTok, across various formats including posts, reels, and stories. Content will vary from captivating product aesthetics to educational tutorials, funny skits, 1:1 interviews, and more. Each week you’ll be tasked with new videos to shoot, with freedom to concept and test new ideas of your own. From concepting to filming to editing, you’ll be hands-on creating content that inspires, entertains, and fuels real-time brand love with cultural spice. You’ll bring seasonal collections and product launches to life through original content, whether filmed in our Brooklyn office, in the field, or just edited on your phone. This role requires a blend of creativity, hands-on production ability, and a deep understanding of how to translate brand & product storytelling into platform-native formats. This role is hybrid with only 2 days per week in office. Responsibilities Ideate, film, and edit social-first content for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, general brand education, and community building Create captivating social media content for Instagram Reels, Posts, Stories, and TikTok Shoot short form videos, either behind camera or camera facing (both preferred but not required) Edit content with strong emphasis on opening hooks, pacing, tone, visuals, motion, and supporting graphics or text Concept and pitch new social content ideas weekly to the marketing team, with a healthy balance of repetition and testing Stay on top of cultural trends, meme cycles, and algorithm shifts to fuel content strategy Collaborate with creative, design, and marketing teams to bring brand and product campaigns to life in creative ways Produce additional formats of social content including static graphics, carousels, gifs, and community engagement IG stories Collaborate with other social media creators and in-house marketing managers Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, product priorities, and overall creative direction Qualifications 4+ years of social media content strategy and production experience 2+ years of iPhone photography/videography experience Proficient in social media apps, Adobe Creative Suite, and Capcut Deep understanding of brand social strategy and consumer trends Portfolio of Photos or Videos produced for social media Strong communication and copywriting skills Excited for an opportunity to learn and thrive within a fast-growing company Highly organized, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial minded Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines Bonus if you’ve had experience making social media content for paid advertising Bonus if you're comfortable talking to camera and camera facing Bonus if you have strong graphic design skills in Photoshop or similar Perks and Benefits A key player at a quickly growing brand Competitive salary with bonuses PTO Days + Paid Holidays Off Premium Health Insurance offered Fun office in the heart of Brooklyn Only 2 days in office per week Velvet Caviar is an equal opportunity employer.
