
Sales Manager for Fleet Telematics (IoT Solutions)

A leading provider of connected operations and IoT-based fleet solutions is seeking a motivated, high-performing Account Executive to drive new business growth across the Southeast region. This is a remote, field-based sales role designed for a true “hunter” who thrives on building pipelines, winning new clients, and expanding market presence.
The ideal candidate is based in the Atlanta, GA area and brings a strong history of developing territories from scratch, engaging senior decision-makers, and closing complex, technology-focused deals within the fleet or transportation space.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in outside B2B sales, preferably within SaaS, telematics, industrial IoT, or related technology sectors
Proven success in a hunter-style sales role with a consistent track record of exceeding quotas
Understanding of fleet operations, transportation, or supply chain environments
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills, particularly with executive-level stakeholders
Experience with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools
Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory
Must be located in the Atlanta, GA metro area
What You’ll Do
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within your assigned region, expanding market presence
Build and execute a strategic territory plan leveraging outbound prospecting, networking, and in-person meetings
Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
Collaborate with marketing and inside sales teams to generate and develop a strong pipeline through campaigns, events, and outreach efforts
Maintain accurate forecasts, pipeline activity, and account details within Salesforce CRM
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by demonstrating how IoT solutions improve asset visibility, optimize operations, and reduce costs
Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and regional conferences
