
Public Relations Coordinator

Position
Location: Culver City, CA office. The position requires five days per week onsite work.
What You Will Achieve Celebrity & Influencer Relations
Support the development and execution of celebrity and VIP engagement strategies.
Manage day‑to‑day communication with celebrity representatives, stylists, and talent managers.
Coordinate gifting and product seeding to celebrities, influencers, and cultural tastemakers.
Track placements across social media, press coverage, and red‑carpet appearances.
Maintain updated contact lists and relationship databases.
Product Seeding & Brand Partnerships
Execute strategic product seeding programs aligned with product launches and campaigns.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with marketing, retail, and e‑commerce teams to align on key drops.
Track ROI and performance of seeded placements.
Manage inventory coordination and shipment logistics for PR gifting initiatives.
Media Relations
Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts across fashion, lifestyle, pop culture, and business outlets.
Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and pitches.
Coordinate media seeding, interviews, and event coverage.
Monitor media coverage and compile detailed coverage reports and recaps.
Writing & Editing
Draft press materials, including press releases, fact sheets, media kits, executive bios, and talking points.
Edit and proofread PR copy to ensure brand voice consistency and accuracy.
Support messaging development for product launches, collaborations, and corporate announcements.
Events & Campaign Support
Assist in planning and executing PR events, pop‑ups, store openings, and launch activations.
Coordinate guest lists, media RSVPs, and on‑site press management.
Provide post‑event reporting and analysis.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
2–4 years of PR experience, preferably within fashion, luxury, lifestyle, entertainment, or consumer brands.
Demonstrated experience in celebrity relations, VIP outreach, product seeding, influencer gifting programs, media pitching, and relationship management.
Professional writing and editing skills.
Strong understanding of pop culture, entertainment media, and social platforms.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in media monitoring and PR reporting tools.
Experience working in‑house or at a PR agency supporting global brands is a plus.
Preferred Attributes
Passion for fashion, designer toys, collectibles, art, and youth culture.
Existing media and celebrity stylist relationships.
Experience supporting global or multi‑market campaigns.
Ability to work flexible hours during launches and events.
Physical Requirements
Remain in a stationary position (e.g., seated or at a desk) for extended periods while operating a computer or other office equipment.
Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
