# Kitchen & Bath Designer atLynnwood, WA · Full-time## Job DescriptionSeattle area design/build remodeling firm is seeking a Kitchen & Bath Designer. Job requirements include:1. Kitchen & bath design skills. Must be able to design kitchens & bathrooms that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing for each specific client. NKBA certification desirable, but not required. Ability to use Autocad and Sketch-Up, as well as other automated design tools. Price each project using company methodologies.2. Construction knowledge. Sufficient knowledge of residential construction to ensure designs are "buildable". Ability to work with other designers and skilled tradespeople to turn your designs into beautiful and functional finished projects.3. Sales ability. Although we are not a "hard sell" firm, this position requires strong interpersonal skills. We concentrate on the needs/wants/wishes of a wide variety of clients, listening closely to them to understand their vision. We try to incorporate as much of that vision as possible into the finished design, while respecting client budgetary constraints.
