Job Summary The Senior Specialist, Performance Marketing will be a part of our Always On Marketing team. Our work includes leveraging AI tools for personalization, ideating and testing new marketing approaches, and developing best practices to share with the broader marketing organization. The Senior Specialist role will support multiple products within the PayPal portfolio, as well as end-to-end lifecycle moments. This role involves independent collaboration to enhance marketing processes and programs, analyzes data to identify trends, oversees team performance, and develops solutions to marketing challenges. Staying updated on best practices in digital marketing is essential to improve campaign effectiveness and ensure project success.
Essential Responsibilities
Liaise with media agencies on launch plans, optimization roadmaps, and budget alignment
Work with creative teams to define roadmaps, review proposals, and ensure seamless execution
Activate co-branding campaigns, product launches, and report results to leadership
Drive churn experimentation strategy, including ideation, testing, and customer experience evaluation
Write experiment briefs, testing plans, and coordinate end-to-end implementation
Monitor experiments post-launch, identify insights, and optimize in-flight results
Manage budget reporting, including agency costs and incentive payouts, for all campaigns
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:
New York City, New York: $98,000.00 - $140,250.00 Annually
San Jose, California: $98,000.00 - $140,250.00 Annually
Chicago, Illinois: $89,000.00 - $127,600.00 Annually
Austin, Texas: $89,000.00 - $127,600.00 Annually
Additional compensation for this role may include an annual performance bonus, equity, or other incentive compensation, as applicable.
