
Director, Supply Chain

Job Description
The Director of Supply Chain (Procurement) plays a key role in our organization and is responsible for the timely availability of all inventory required to meet our continued growth plans.
This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer and is a hybrid role based out of our headquarters office in Laguna Beach or Century City, CA. It will require travel, both domestic and international, of up to 10%.
Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end supply planning, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and procurement execution (MRP)
Own supplier strategy and vendor performance, building strong partnerships to ensure service levels, cost efficiency, and scalability
Drive S&OP alignment by partnering with Demand Planning and Finance to balance service, inventory, and working capital
Establish and track key supply chain KPIs (OTIF, inventory turns, service levels, forecast alignment)
Lead resolution of supply and logistics disruptions, implementing proactive and scalable solutions
Identify and execute cost savings and efficiency initiatives across sourcing, production, and logistics
Oversee inventory health, including in‑transit, consignment, excess, and slow‑moving stock, and drive optimization strategies
Lead, develop, and scale the Supply Chain team, establishing clear goals, accountability, and career growth
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers increasing flexibility (lead times, MOQs, safety stock, resilience, etc.)
Own and optimize supply chain systems and tools (ERP, planning systems) to improve visibility and decision‑making
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a business‑related field (Engineering, Supply Chain, Business)
8–12+ years of supply chain experience, including 3–5+ years in a leadership role
Experience in supply chain roles in the Cosmetics, Personal Care or Consumer Goods industries required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly present and explain complex information
Critical and strategic thinking skills combined with a high sense of urgency
Ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities
Strong interpersonal, implementation, and facilitation skills
Self‑motivated, team player attitude
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially, Excel
Netsuite, SourceDay, Netstock experience a +
