Pay Range Pay Range:
$30.70 - $46.05
Major Responsibilities
Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems.
Diagnoses and implements repairs for Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
Installs/replace and maintains building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and controls systems.
Operates and monitors advanced utility equipment (generators, plant chillers, steam boilers, fire protection systems, etc.) and utilizes building automation systems to troubleshoot issues.
Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and manuals for accurate task completion.
Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required
Valid Driver’s License.
Trade/Tech School Trades Certificate or other industry-recognized certification/license requiring continuing education units or periodic renewal.
Education Required
Advanced training beyond high school that includes completion of technical training.
Experience Required
4 or more years of experience in industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Ability to work with minimal oversight and advanced technical skills in facility maintenance.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced computer skills/competency in Microsoft Office Platform, Building Automation Systems, Pneumatic Tube Systems.
Clear understanding of applicable codes and compliance guidelines.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
Must work required shifts and participate in on-call duty for 24/7 coverage.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, crawl, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. from floor to overhead, up to 50 lbs. from floor to chest-level, and up to 50 lbs. at waist height a reasonable distance.
Must be able to push/pull with 50 lbs. of force.
Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards; knowledge of safety precautions required.
Position requires travel and may expose to road/weather hazards.
Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
Preferred Job Requirements
Community College/Trade school degree.
Trade/Tech School Trades Certificate or other industry recognized certification/license requiring continuing education units or periodic renewal.
7+ years of experience in industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
